Wes Kelly is AquaTex coaches’ choice for January Player of the Month.
From the start, which was only last October, Wes has had one of the best attitudes among all our athletes. He’s a key member of our up-and-coming 12u cohort, willing to try new things (goalie!), and has one of the club’s best attendance records. And being funny doesn’t hurt either.
He and his teammates just finished 3rd at the past weekend’s South Texas Championships (a shorthanded team, it must be said), continuing their trend of very good results for a very young team. And Wes is maybe our most enthusiastic young athlete, eager for new experience. That attitude has paid off in a short time and will continue to do so as he continues to improve as a player.
Well done, Wes! Keep it up. He’s our January Player of the Month. Congratulations!
